Philippa Williams

Philippa Williams is a Consultant Psychologist, Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Naturopath, and published author specialising in trauma, relational practice, nervous system health, and integrative psychological care. 


She has worked across NHS, government, charity, academic, and private-sector settings internationally, delivering psychologically informed services, supervision, consultancy, programme development, and trauma-responsive interventions within complex clinical and multidisciplinary environments.

 

Alongside over a decade working professionally within psychology and psychotherapy, Philippa also brings more than 35 years’ experience within equestrianism, including horse training, rider development, rehabilitation, equine behaviour, performance environments, and equine-facilitated psychotherapy.

Philippa is published academically in the areas of trauma, depression, the horse–human relationship, equine-facilitated psychotherapy, and nature-based psychotherapy, and contributes to the Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy Master’s programme at Hartpury University as a Clinical Supervisor.

Working Together

Services are available online, in-person, and internationally; integrating established psychological and psychotherapeutic practice alongside equine-facilitated, naturopathic, somatic, relational, and nature based-approaches where clinically and ethically appropriate.  Residential intensives, retreats and programs upon request.
