CPD for Practitioners
"Supporting the Growth, Resilience & Integrity of Mental Health Professionals"

Alongside her work with clients, Philippa contributes to practitioner development, reflective practice, and professional resilience, offering supervision, consultation, and continuing professional development for therapists, psychologists, and allied professionals working across traditional and integrative therapeutic settings.

Clinical Supervision & Reflective Practice
Clinical supervision offers practitioners a confidential reflective space to explore clinical work, ethical considerations, practitioner wellbeing, and professional development.
Clinical supervision is grounded in an integrative and trauma-informed framework, drawing from established psychological modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including second and third-wave approaches), Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Systemic frameworks.
Philippa works pluralistically, integrating perspectives such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic approaches, and trauma physiology, and moving fluidly between modalities according to the needs of the practitioner, their clinical context, and the work they bring to supervision.
Supervision is informed by recognised models of reflective practice, including the work of Hawkins and Shohet, while also incorporating experiential methodologies drawn from Nature-Based and Animal-Assisted psychotherapy, including Equine and Canine-Assisted frameworks where relevant.
Sessions support practitioners to:
• Reflect on complex clinical material
• Navigate ethical and relational challenges in therapeutic work
• Develop clarity and confidence in clinical decision-making
• Maintain sustainable and reflective professional practice
Supervision is available individually or in groups, and can also be offered through intensive formats where appropriate.
Practitioner Consultation & CPD Intensives
Alongside ongoing supervision, Philippa offers one-off consultations and practitioner intensives for professionals seeking focused exploration of clinical questions, frameworks, or programme development.
These sessions are often valuable for practitioners who would benefit from specialist input on complex cases, integrative therapeutic models, or trauma-informed practice.
Consultations may support:
• Case consultation for complex or trauma-related presentations
• Development of integrative or nature-based therapeutic frameworks
• Reflective consultation for practitioners navigating clinical complexity
• Programme design for organisations or therapeutic services
Sessions may take the form of:
• Single consultation sessions
• Short consultation series
• Half-day or full-day CPD intensives
Training, Workshops & Experiential Learning
Philippa designs and delivers Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes for practitioners interested in integrative trauma practice, somatic approaches, and nature-based psychotherapy.
Training combines theoretical learning with experiential practice, supporting practitioners to deepen their clinical understanding while maintaining ethical and reflective practice.
Workshops may explore areas such as:
• Trauma physiology and nervous system regulation
• Nature-Based Psychotherapy and ecological therapeutic models
• Somatic awareness and embodied approaches to trauma recovery
• Practitioner wellbeing and burnout prevention
Philippa is also the lead designer and facilitator of the Chiron Series, an experiential supervision and practitioner wellbeing workshop drawing on principles of experiential learning, trauma-informed practice, and relational therapeutic work.
